The white-collar job market is tough for everybody, those seeking and those hiring. Job seekers are looking for ways to get ahead, and many are willing to resort to unethical means to do so. Frequently, people simply inflate their resumes with fake job experience, or fake education. Hiring personnel spoke out on this issue at the recent DevOps Columbia roundtable discussion, and it is evident that this is a widespread problem.
SAA, SEC+, and PMP certifications are certs that can be fraudulently obtained through a company called edunx.org.
Another way people cheat the process is hiring a company to take certification exams on their behalf. As someone who has studied for and earned a few certifications legitimately, I was upset to hear about this. One such company kept calling me, edunx.org. This is company that fraudulently takes certification exams on behalf of their clients for roughly $1000 apiece according to their website.
Code Collective is taking a stand against fraud in the tech industry. We are committed to providing our members with the legitimate skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers, including the QR-scannable verifiable Version Control Basic Proficiency Certification.
Code Collective's own QR verifiable certifications are 100% legitimate.
As of now, I have personally vetted each of these certifications held in the Code Collective database. So unlike the certifications listed above, employers can trust that they are 100% legitimate. I will be leading this one-hour workshop FOR FREE on May 4th, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Revielle Grounds. Come get certified in Version Control.
That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you at the workshop!
